Pecan Pie Brownies

Cook Time: 50 min


Ingredients:

  • 1 (2-lb 4 oz) package frozen Mrs. Smith'sSpecial Recipe Southern Pecan Pie
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine
  • 1 3/4 cups (11.5 oz package) Nestle Toll House Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chunks
  • 1 cup Domino Granulated Sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • All Natural Pam Original Cooking Spray

Directions:

(Line the bottom of the pan with aluminum foil to easily lift out and cut brownies.)
Remove and discard paper circle from pecan pie.
Thaw pie at room temperature 2 hours.
Microwave butter and chocolate chunks in a glass bowl at High - 1 minute. Stir and microwave 1 more minute. Stir until mixture is smooth.
Beat chocolate mixture, sugar, eggs, and milk at low speed with heavy duty stand mixer until blended.
Cut pie in hlf and add half of pie to chocolate mixture. Add flour and baking powder, stirring until blended.
Cut remaining pie into 1" chunks. Stir into batter. (Batter will be thick.) Spoon batter into a 13 x 9 inch pan coated with cooking spray.
Bake at 350 for 50 minutes. Cool completely on wire rack. Cut into triangles or squares.
Makes 40 brownies.
